Patio Pavers

Patio Pavers

Patios can be a great way to utilize your outdoor space. Instead of just having a stretch of grass, you have a place where you can lounge under the open sky, host dinner parties and gatherings or simply spend time with your family. With the right furniture and accessories, patios can also add an interesting design element to your décor. However, the most distinctive feature in every patio design is the paver used to build it.

Outdoor Improvement has been around for years, designing and installing pavements in our neighborhood of Eagan as well the nearby cities of Minneapolis, Burnsville, Savage and Woodbury. Our clients aren’t just satisfied with the quality of the products we supply and utilize; they also rely on our expertise in installation.

The durability of the patio relies heavily on the material used and the installation. Our clients in Eden Prairie, Saint Paul, Apple Valley, Lakeville and Maplewood have given us favorable feedback, appreciating the quality of our work.

Patio Pavers

The paver used in patio designs should reflect your taste and intention. For example, if you’re going for the modern, urbane look for your patio, using classic red-brick might not be the best idea. There are different designs and colors of pavers available and we supply high quality Belgard pavers as well.

  • Brick: There’s a timeless, rustic charm to brick that’s still appealing to many. The material has many advantages. Its color doesn’t fade and it always looks rich and authentic. Moreover, while bricks come in standard shapes, it can be laid down in different patterns like running bond, herringbone, basket weave, stack bond, Flemish bond, etc.

  • Concrete: This material is, perhaps, the most versatile of pavers. It is very durable, doesn’t require much by way of maintenance and can fit into every budget. Concrete patio pavers can come in different colors and textures; this makes it suitable for all styles of patios.

  • Patio Pavers Natural stone: This is one of the best and most popular materials for patio paving. Not only does it provide a natural, earthy look, but it is also durable. This low maintenance material can last for decades as long as it is installed with care. You can also grow grass and some plants between the pavers for a unique look. In comparison to brick and concrete, natural stone is more expensive and the prices can vary depending on the color and type.

  • Interlocking pavers: These pavers have been in use for centuries. They are very durable and look great. Moreover, they can fit into any design aesthetic easily, depending on the design and color. Interlocking patio pavers are very popular and while they can be expensive, many consider their uniqueness, worth the expense.
